Here's the finished muscle study of mammuthus primigenius, also known as the woolly mammoth. This was a fun challenge since i've never done a study on a proboscidea before and I always wondered how the muscles looked in the trunk. The muscle anatomy is really good (from what I can tell atleast). And a muscle reconstruction is something that I, and many others haven't seen from this animal on deviantart. Very unique indeed. Overall, this is Excellent art, and the muscle anatomy is excellent as well. Also, question answer me if i'm wrong, but I think the tusks are a bit to sharp. Maybe its just me, I don't know.
