Description
I had a dream about these birds so I just had to draw them. They're called Ravlings, They are a species of aves that live high up in the canopy of the rain forest. They are about 3 feet tall and a wingspan up to 6 to 8 feet. They only eat fruit and bugs and are for the most part docile. What is fascinating about these birds is that they like to hang up side down, just like a bat, from tree branches, and when they sleep they wrap themselves in four very large feathers that they have attached to their lower waist, almost cocooning themselves. And when they wake up they open up like a flower blooming. Another amazing thing about them is they glow in the dark! In the dark their markings glow like pink and green glow sticks, It's unknown why they glow and how, but for sure it's a stunning sight to see at night, watching all these birds fly above glowing through the night sky.
