Here is my first entrant for this month's DU challenge. I was hoping to get an entry in for last month's challenge but I honestly just didn't really have the time to do so. Luckily I think I can manage this one as it is stand alone images, so I hope some of these make up for not making the last months challenge and also the entire lack of posting that has been done.

So my first chosen character for this challenge is Kostmeyer's new intergalactic character... Centauri! I chose her because of a few reasons. I think the first being to see how far I could test my current abilities with Daz3d. I took one look at this character and simply stated it was beyond me, but as of recently I've managed to find out a few extra things about the software I use, and as such it's opened up more possibilities for making characters. It's not spot on as you can see, and given my limitations I will rarely ever hit the mark on character designs, but I think its easily recognizable as Centauri at the very least, so for certain characters I can always edge closer and closer to their true design. This has certainly been one of my most challenging little projects, and hence, since it was DU, I though why not? It's been testing my capabilities from the start so this month should be no exception, so I just went for it in the end

The second reason obviously being that Centauri herself seems like an interesting character. At first I thought she was similar to Vigil in design, but after working on her I can say that its very different and unique. She's one of the newer characters to arrive at DU, so I can't completely judge her character yet, but she seems to be a lot more approachable then Kostmeyer's Vigil and might actually be able to play along with others when the next great peril knocks on our doorstep. The good thing about her is that there is so much possibilities for her, given she has no memory of her past identity, and also that she has been serving decades in the universe fighting perils we probably can't even begin to understand. I'm wondering if or when the Centauri league might start to show their faces in the DU given their connection to the Centauri of our earth I'm also wondering what she will remember of Jamie Jones if she starts to get her memories back.

For now though, here is a picture of Centauri fighting off an unseen tentacle ridden foe! Looks like there's a lot of them, but I think this gal' has it all under control.

Anywayz... that's one down... potentially 4 to go. I'll be having a look through the roster and what not and see who takes my fancy next Hope you guys like this one, it's as close to Centauri I'm gonna' get!
