"Defense of the Ancients" - Produced by Valve and available on Steam (PC) and originally based off Blizzards Warcraft III heroes (It has since diversified and expanded). Β Its a 5v5 arena game that is part of the MOBA genre (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena).
League of Legends (LOL) by Riot Games and Heroes of the Storm (HotS) by Blizzard Entertainment are other games from the same genre. Β HotS is in beta testing right now. Β Beta spots are still available on battle.net for HotS.

(Dude) You are quite welcome, I am glad I could help. Β I should have added before that all three games are free to play. Β The only expense you would likely incur is for cosmetic items, such as character skins (the way the model looks). Β While you may have the option to unlock talents and/or development skills, that is usually intended for veteran players, as all tiers of talents and skills are unlockable through game play.
Don't worry about being outmatched in the beginning, as all MOBA games attempt to match players of equal skill. Β As you progressively get better, you will be paired against better players. Β Enjoy!

So I just showed this to my friend who plays Dota and is mildly confused.
He can't figure out which (if any) character this is, or if it's supposed to actually be a character for your friend XD
To quote him "It's like he took Mirana and combined her with Luna AND their mounts."

I generally go for the bottom right/top left corner of map play, but yup, a few people come to mind that have tp'ed me into the well...
