Very nice. I also thought it looked a bit "dragon age-y" at first. I think the main reasons for that are the gauntlets and the red scarf. I like the addition of that tiny glowy cross thing, nice splash of blue.

just stroke darker colors around her, then have a second layer stroke the white over it so it looks like she's coming out of the page

maybe something between the lines of humanity *maybe add in other races* Versus like satan,beelzebub, baal. Or maybe a Hero progresses, meets other heroes. conquer or finish quest, meet people and heroes that were met.
