Amazing, I like how the woman and background have a different sort of style. Make her stand out more while blending at the same time... if that makes any sense >_>

Woahh, amazing! I have a thing for this pose, it's so basic but portrays so much power. It's that "wake of destruction" look. Gorgeous work.
Also, "Dragon Age" is what I thought before I even read your comments! Like if you replaced male Hawke in all of those trailers with a much more attractive, female mage persona. Love it!

I personally really loved DA2 and was able to overlook the flaws most fans couldn't get past, but I do look forward to DA3

yeah, i guess i could forgive them for some things, but it was miles away from the depth of origins... oh well, lets hope bioware takes their time with DA3

Part of my odd bias relies on the fact that I didn't start with Origins, but DA2. With no preconceived notions, I was easily grabbed by the characters and the way they developed, and even that whole "relationship" factor that I promised myself I wouldn't get involved with, and did anyway. It's for sure a game I will replay again once enough time has passed and I can re-enjoy it.

Stunning. Gives the definite feel that while this woman is a 10, you don't want to piss her off.

Fantastic. I adore the varied textures in the clothes, and the expression on her face is simple without being 'model bland'. Well done.

This is very, very good
I had a similar idea for a character once, but it did not turn out as good as this.
The artstyle is really cool. very dragon age and a bit of guild wars, as well.
Great job.

Just browsed through your gallery and it's very awesome to see your progression. Especially your facial expressions are becoming great! If you keep this up you're going to come a long way. I love the background and the style of your paintings. Would love to develop my own style more in this direction in stead of too much realism. And you're pretty spot-on on the dragon age comment, getting that same vibe. All I would add is some minor strands of hair that fly loose of the rest, it's just a bit too much unfinished there. But that's pretty much everything I can come up with for you. Keep up the good work!

thanks. appreciate the critique
And your style is what you're most comfortable with. i can see that you do smoothly rendered faces well. look at the works of artist Anne Pogoda, im sure you can pick up some things from her as your styles kinda follow the same direction

Hey, thanks, she has some very useful and inspiring stuff. Though it's not really the direction I want to continue in. I've only started doing digital work recently so still looking for what I want.
