character design/ lighting practice. came out looking very dragon age-y
also trying out a new background style; kinda works i guess...anyways, pointers and advise would be appreciated

This picture is really good. I wish I could draw girls but their curves throw me off. I have difficulty doing that even when I use ball and stick figures. Great job.

I like the colour in the background,seems like a traditional painting,and good use of contrast between intense color and more 'greyed' color.
I suggest to improve the face of the character,it seems too 'blurred'..

I think her right arm looks a little weird though
