It's a kick ass game. I put off getting it because of the reviews that said it was inferior to GX and wasn't really worth playing unless you just want to see how it went from SNES to GX. But actually it's damn awesome and underrated.

i got it. i dont have GX
well it is a N64 game so it would be inferior to GX

i want to see the F-Zero anime XD

Well, I played GX before X and I still think it's worth playing. Some of the backgrounds look like they were made for SNES, but they still look really pretty. Especially White Land, Silence 2 and Big Hand.

Oh yeah, definitely. F-Zero Guitar arranged versions of Dream Chaser and Climb Up! And Get The Last Chance are amazing.
