Yo, I noticed around Fall Weather Friends the seasons went Winter : Spring : Summer : Winter : Autumn. Β I know it's probably not, but I like to believe it was a super subtle multi episodes long nod to the changing seasons scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.Β

Considering the Halloween episode was leaked a while back as episode 112, in season 5, it would be episode 21.
Since the Christmas episode is episode 20, odds are the halloween one will ply next.. so I think they just got their airdates confused after the episode was leaked

I think they deliberately held back on airing Scare Master because they wanted to air it as close to Halloween as possible, hence the mixed up airdates.

I think the fault falls entirely on Discovery Family Channel. They do not know how to properly schedule a season of My Little Pony. If it were still the Hub Network, the schedule for the episodes would be: All the episodes that have aired so far, except for "Tanks for the Memories," and "Hearthbreakers," then it would be "Princess Spike" BEFORE "Slice of Life." After "The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows" would be "Scare Master," then the rest of the episodes up to "The Mane Attraction" would be followed by "Tanks For the Memories," "Hearthbreakers," and finally, "The Cutie Re-Mark."

It wasn't delayed, it was accidentally released early on iTunes and then replaced with the correct episode. The Halloween episode was always intended to air on Halloween, as it should be. As for why they aired the Christmas episode a week before it I have no idea. Strange scheduling.

No, according to production order it IS episode 15. They delayed it to air on Halloween, but the only reason it was leaked is because iTunes was going by production order. The fact that if it was released in production order it would put the Halloween episode over a month and a half before the Christmas one just makes it more obvious. But yeah, it was an intentional delay, but it WAS a delay.

You know, the one retail stores follow? Christmas keeps creeping backwards in the calendar. People used to complain that they were putting out the Christmas stuff with Halloween barely over! Well, guess what?
