I've got to ask. What's you opinion on E-123 Omega. Now granted I don't know much about him (or anything Sonic related in general), but this robot at least on the exterior seems to meet a lot of the "criteria" you project onto Metal Sonic: Free will, changing allegiances, a personality (I think).Β
I don't know. Is he "okay" in your book. I wouldn't know, so fill me in about this robot I just remembered.

You know, I don't really have a strong opinion on Omega. I guess SEGA has kind of only used him a filler character, so he's never really felt that interesting to me. Like Metal gets decent character development, and you feel bad for him because he seems so sad. But Omega is just kind of...there. Like he blows up stuff and that's that.

I have a couple of ideas for how they end up together, but for this picture in particular, I like to imagine that Sonic and Metal share their connection like in the OVA. This brings them closer together, but unfortunately, Eggman has programmed Metal to attack Sonic even though Metal hates hurting Sonic. So Metal has to stay away from Sonic to avoid hurting him. However, when Sonic turns into the Werehog, it creates a loophole in Metal's programming because the Werehog isn't *technically* Sonic. So Metal is then finally able to enjoy some time with Sonic.
