No peace in their time!Ladies and gentlemen, here's the conclusion of my TOS Movie series images. I hope you've noticed I've made one for each movie in the past weeks. Originally, I wanted to close this set with the classic flyby scene, but 1, I've already done that 2, this is not the end, only a new beginning.
I hope I managed to do these fantastic six movies justice and a worthy hommage. I was inspired, as I've mewntioned before, by the Stardate Collection set of blu-rays I bought myself for Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, be on the lookout for my Christmas gift, as my latest release spree is approaching, not a big one, but screaming "Quapla!" at the top of their lungs.

Stupid Galaxy-class haters in Mr. Berman and what was that other bastard's name who wanted to kill the 'D' off? Β They just 'conveniently' forgot as producers that the Enterprise-D was loaded with 'gunz, gunz, and moar gunz' than the Refit Constitution Class, so there's simply NO WAY IN HELL that some Birds of Prey can kick a Galaxy's teeth in! -__- Β Instead, it should have been 'D' doing arse whooping and showing Ursa Sisters 'You ridge-headed fools!! Really? I think those two were awesome. True they're pretty much puts a whole new spin on the Star Trek movie but the special effects are some of the best I've ever seen. The only thing that I found rather wrong about was the previews they showed. With each one they made it look like the Enterprise was going to be destroyed which really had me worried. I really hope they do a third one.

Abrams made them an action movie franchise. Trek was never about action, it was about exploration, political and ethical dilemmas, Cold War analogies, etc.

Well I guess we all see things differently. To me the Star Trek movies were alwaysΒ based on sci-fiΒ action, the series could be considered political and ethical dilemmas given the plots. But what I really liked about the show was that at the time it was one of the few shows where you could see people from all differentΒ parts of the world work together, not to mention have an alien that wasn't seen as a villain.

That scene. I remember we had a Star Trek encyclopedia on CD, which had this scene in english as a clip on it. I watched it time and time again and then I watched the german version since it was in english. First words I learned in english: "FIRE!"

What I love to see as a finalΓ© of the TOS movies, is to see the Enterprise sail off into the sun...I have not seen a good enough pic depicting this.
