Description
Here you have it, folks, the official blueprints of the Pallada class. I tried to follow Franz Jospeh's style as closely as possible, up to the fonts used...Layout design by Franz Joseph Schnaubelt

I am going to fold this into my copy of the TOS tech manual. Out of curiosity, how many of these did Starfleet build?

I'm honored!
Actually, Starfleet built none. The Pallada class is the prized child of the United Earth First Fleet. The first batch were the Magnificent Seven, you can see their emblems here:

There was a second batch, which were built the "TOS Series" way (whirly Bussards, smaller bridge dome, etc). This batch consisted of a further nine ships. The third and fourth batches were of the Phase II design, and each had six-six ships. Altogether, there were 28 ships.

Nice design. I love the classic original series technical manual.

i suppose I would have made the connecting struts longer (as long as the original) and attached them closer to the fronts of the nacelles (which would push them back further). I imagine there was some engineering reason for putting them behind the saucer in the original Enterprise.

There was, as the nacelles were about to be behind the saucer at the same height.
Would have distorted the intake of the Bussard collectors too much if they were closer.
One way to solve this problem is to put them below the saucer, as seen on the Miranda class ships.
