Description
The phaser beam burst out from the emitter ring, ripping open the Kzinti cruiser's hull. A second later, the enemy phaser bolt struck home, rattling the Polaris.- Direct hit on the starboard nacelle, primary coil assembly damaged! - White Eagle's voice yelled from the intercom.
- Hard to starboard, Mr. JimΓ©nez. - Metlesits shouted - And keep a phaser lock on them, Vasya!
As the Polaris turned, the viewscreen came face to face with the Yisson Nebula, the historical border between the Kzinti Patriarchy and the Tzenkethi Empire. The exchange of enery beams reflected back from the glowing dust clouds, making them seem alive, flowing.
- Space is bleeding. - Metlesits sighed quielty.

The Falcon? I never noticed... I designed the Kzin ship based upon what appeared in the TAS Kzinti eposide...

In some ways, yes. Imperial Starfleet? Proton Torpedoes? I always though SW is for those who are too dumb to understand Trek.

I always thought, if they left out the whole Force crap, SW would have been tons better. It would have been a great military/cold war analogy sci-fi. Imagine leaving the stupid lightsabre fights and grammatically challenged green midgets out: Palpatine is a general and/or politician who plays chess with the whole galaxy and wins, creating his own empire. Luke does not start the whole saving the world thing because he is destoned to become a warrior-monk, but because his family was literally burned alive. Obi-Wan is a hermit because he is a hunted man, a general of the old regime to be purged (Soviet Union, anyone?) It would have been like Firefly, perhaps even better. You know, the small band of outcasts fight the power, whole neither them nor the Empire realizing that the other might not be as really bad as they see it.
