Einar and Jamie arrive in Gyulakeszi (Hungary) with their first mounts Aurora and Lady along with Jamie's Dutch Shepherd dogs Bunji (black and tan) and Tidda (black).

Both are excited to be here for their first White December and are ready to meet some people. Once they get their horses settled you can bet they'll both be heading down to the pub to warm up and make friends!

If you would like to use either of these lads as extras please feel free and they're both open to any interactions during the trek 😃

“I can’t believe we’re finally here,” Jamie said excitedly as he finished checking over Dusty’s tack.

Einar fussed over Aurora, adjusting his sleeping roll before looking to Jamie. “I’m glad we were both accepted, and that we can do it together. It’ll be nice to be able to trek with someone I already know.”

Jamie raised his head. “It’s still going to be a tough month. Thanks for having us over early. I think I’d be freezing my ass off by now if I hadn’t had time to get used to all the snow.”

Einar laughed and came over to clap Jamie’s back. “Didn’t take you too long at least, plus your horses adapted well to it all.”

“Didn’t they just! Not sure which of them enjoyed it more to be honest.” Jamie replied with a laugh.

“Well what do you say we get these two settled and see about the rest of the human company for the month?” Einar asked.

Jamie slung an easy arm over Einar’s shoulder? “Are you asking if I want to take up the guide’s invite to the pub and get drunk and make friends we won't remember tomorrow?” He asked with a cheeky grin.

Einar frowned then raised an eyebrow. “That’s the general gist yes, however I would really like to remember the people and we’ve got an early start tomorrow so maybe we don’t get too drunk.”

“Fine. No getting plastered,” Jamie said with a dramatic fake sigh,”How on earth will I possibly deal with being a social butterfly like you without copious amounts of booze? So harsh! So mean! I’m crushed Einar!”

Einar snorted a laugh at Jamie’s antics. “I’m sure you’ll manage you goose.”

“You wound me!” Jamie cried, staggering back from Einar and holding his hand to his chest. Bunnies and Tidda jumped around him excited by his energy.

Einar flicked the end of Aurora’s lead rope at Jamie and started to lead her away. “Come on then, let’s go. If we don’t make it to the pub soon you’ll dissolve into silliness. I’d say it’s jet lag but you’ve been here a month already!”

Jamie danced back from the lead rope then darted forward to poke Einar then jogged on ahead with Dusty trotting along confused behind him and the dogs running between them both.

Einar laughed and shook his head. This was going to be a good month indeed.
