You can see that I chopped it up and redesigned the overall look. Easy to do when you work on paper...

What specifically do you use for the skin? Like I saw the materials but do you start with watercolor and get the details with pencil and oil (like how you start and how you end)?
If you don't want to tell me that's fine but I just started with traditional painting so I'm curious how others do portraits.

Yeah that exactly how, watercolor, then pencil the oil.
