I'm refering to the people who are called "otherkin," that is, people who believe they are animals (Like wolves and foxes) trapped in human bodies. This idea is inherantly foolish, as people need to learn to accept that they're human whether they like it or not.

I'll take that as a "no." I suppose what I'm really asking is why does it bother you? If someone says that they're really X trapped in a Y body, it seems to me that the one thing you can say with certainty is that they have some sort of issues with being uncomfortable or unhappy with who they are or who others treat them as. Beyond that there are all kinds of things that can be at play. For some people maybe what they need is actually a good swift kick to the behind. But others may have much deeper issues. It's difficult to make a sound judgement without getting to know the individual and understanding what it is they're trying to express.
My experience has been that people believe all sorts of things that may seem odd or irrational to me. But I've decided that the best thing for me is to only worry about it when those beliefs lead to actions that affect others.
