Description
This is the first thing that I did wholly without any physical artwork, back when I was too sick (bacterial bronchitis) during Christmas (and the three weeks surrounding) to get out of the house or move more than seven yards without fainting. So I stuck myself at the computer and decided to discover photoshop. I did the head with my mouse, before I got my palet *lovee!* and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Karassa is the most common subspecies of Aviis Felidae (Gryphotha), the lion/golden eagle mix, or Aquila leo. She's a semi-bronzy color. Anyway, Gryphons live to fly (wouldn't you if you could?) And slowly waste away without their glorious wings. She's flightless until her next moult, but she'll either have died by then, or have committed suicide without flight. Sad. . . The Gryphotha don't convey their feelings facially, since a bird's face is nearly motionless. But I think I captured that emtional agony rather well here. Feedback, please? It isn't done yet, obviously.
