Description
I was listening to something with the most powerful violin and cello music I have ever heard. I'll post the name of the piece when I remember it, so look for an update. But, OHBOYOHBOYOHBOY it would soud sooooooo good with electric violin and cello!!!! Anyways, this is the pic that came to mind. I don't know who she is, or what she's resting her hand on, but this is what you get when you flee from a ball into the night. I want that dress, BTW, and the armlets. I want to finish this one right, so any suggestions for hair color are more than welcome. It's wierd. Whenever I try to draw realistically, the chick always comes out with my body type. I've gotta stop. Oh, and any critiques are more than welcome.

elegant gothic aristocrat. frock/brocade coats and cravats and tophats and big jewel encrusted broches and monocles and violins and absinthe and heeled shoes with buckles and walking sticks and tuxedo jackets with tails and blackribbon hairties, snobby attitudes, j'ardore perfume, big rings, frilly shirts, blood red roses etc. i think i went crazy sometime last week from lack of sleep, i feel like im dreaming. i beg your pardon for the weird rant.

The shape of the back is awesome, that's a difficult angle. I like the understated folds in the skirt, too.
On her raised arm, the bend of her elbow would be about where the edge of the sleeve-drape comes to.

Well, I was going to say it would be nice if it was on plain paper, but I see you've already started on that, ah well. It's really good though!

Anke, this is awesome, I love how you drew it. Her body does look a little lanky, but otherwise, she's beautiful. Good job.

Yeah. But I don't want any psychodelic colors, though. Just a fading glow?

Hmm....maybe sunset? Or even sunrise. Something very subtle and "classical", as I would say, would be very fitting. Like, it could be just before the sun has completely set, or before it starts to rise. Almost like a twilight, y'know?
