TATZELWURM(AKA: Stollenworm, Bergstutzen, Springwurm, Dazzelwurm, Praatzelwurm, Arassas)
In Alpine folklore the Tatzelwurm is described as a stubby, lizard-like creature with a cat-like head. It is rumored to live in several areas of Europe, including the Austrian, Bavarian, Italian and Swiss Alps.
First Documented: 1779
Classification: Squamate Reptile, or possibly Caudatan Amphibian.
Size: 2 - 6 ft long.
Diet: Carnivorus.
Location: Throughout Europe.
Locomotion: Bipedal crawling.
Environment: Mountains.
Social unit: Solitary.

That's a very awesome and realistic interpretation of theΒ Tatzelwurm.
And in the Italian's folklore is describted as a dark green serpent with the head of cat who is immortal andΒ have the power to kill humans with is gaze and his blow.
Like a basilisk.
