Description
Inspired by Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books, which I'm just starting to plow through now.Credit for the wonderful terrain goes to [link]
The waterfall is my own little touch, and one that doesn't exactly go hand in hand with the descriptions in the books. Oh and where does it go? Into an underground resevoir of course...

Great landscape. I do believe you have managed to depict the Waste rather accurately.

Beautiful. Are you thinking early Turner or late Turner? If you're aiming for late Turner, it's probably just that the details are too defined compared to the abstraction you want to see. The lighting and colour are getting pretty close though.

Thanks for the comment
Yes, I have thought of making a profile of a "world" with several related terragen pieces. The only problem is time. However, when I do have the time, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll try to do something like that.

Amazing its great the colours and the terrain go realy well, i just hoped there would be more eyecandy, like a little village or some birds

Thanks for the comment
I didn't want to sacrifice the sense of scale by adding any birds. However, when I learn how to integrate villages and trees effectively I will definitely add more "eyecandy."
Speaking of which, do you know any good tutorials for adding villages/cities?
