Yup I did one again.Reasons?...Ok! Let's get started.
I think Smash 5/NX will just be an updated version of Smash 4 with more characters, stages and that kinda stuff.
So this is my fan roster for characters I think can be in smash 5/NX
Tell me what you think of the characters I choose in roster and tell me what characters you want to see in smash 5/NX
If you wonder who anyone of those 89 characters are or wonder why I chose them just ask.

Can we just drop all the Fire Emblem characters from future Smash games, except Robin and maybe Marth? We should keep Robin because he/she actually fights like playing a Fire Emblem game, rather than trying to be "Marth, but different". None of the other FE characters even try to avoid that comparison.
If we just got rid of all the Counter-using, sword-wielding FE characters besides Marth, we could free up to four slots on the roster. Lucina and Roy can easily be alternate costumes for Marth, but they add exactly nothing to the game by being separate characters.
Or, as a more realistic fantasy, I want Marth to speak English in the next Smash game. Why hasn't he been localized like everyone else?

No, because Fire Emblem is becoming one of nintendo's more popular franciser and reducing them to 1 - 2 characters from 6 characters is not something that will pleases the fans. Also having Robin being more important to be in smash then marth is like saying Rosalina is more important than Mario.
Because Marth has never had an official English voice actor until Codename Steam.

It would please maybe half the fans, but alienate the other half. So I guess it's safer to keep adding more and more FE characters than to try and cut any of them.

I don't think characters whose main claim to fame is driving a motorcycle could do well in Smash. How would Excitebike's moveset work, for example?

His moveset could be based out of motorcycle tricks there the motorcycle or he hits the opponent depending on the trick he's using.

Or maybe the motorcycle characters play entirely differently, or they have to always stay in motion. It's an interesting concept, but probably barely on the wrong side of the "realizable characters" line, like Ridley is.

Noooo, Because Ridley is a hard character to make so you feel like your playing as him. Excitebike rider is easy to make so you feel like your playing as a character that does tricks on a motorbike.

There are oodles of reasons why Ridley shouldn't be playable. In fact, I think the way he shows up on the Pyrosphere is the best homage to Ridley possible. A huge, powerful entity who shows up whenever he wants and punishes everyone, but he can be persuaded to assist you with enough effort and attention? Ridley is basically God! The instant he shows up, the battle becomes a contest to earn the most favor from Ridley.
The problem with Excitebike is that it would be easy to make it feel like you're playing Excitebike, but it would be hard to make playing Excitebike feel like it belongs in Smash, much less make it work well against all the other characters. As much as I hate having all these Marth clones, I have to admit that Marth's moveset is very practical and effective in Smash.

You've got a pretty nice roster over there, I'm not a big fan of Black Shadow in smash but the ideas of Gardevoir, Rayman, Sami, Isaac, Lana and as you already saw I think we can agree that it would be nice to get Squirtle, Ivysaur and YL back
I'm not pretty sure what Froy would do but the rest is OK, if I get to make my own roster someday I would love you to see it too

Yeah, I would like to see Gardevoir for gen 3 representative. But to be real, I would have any gen 3 or 5 pokemon before getting another gen 1, 4 and 6 (and technically 2, but it's not that important)

as for a gen 5 pokemon... ill be bias and say chandelure, not only is it my fav pokemon but its also gonna appear in pokken tournament soon, i know its a weird choice but still

Sceptile is the other "Logical" choice for smash and is the second character I want from gen 3 so it's acceptable.
I love Chandelure, but I think the chances are not so likely. And if we are talking about bias... I would go with Eelektross.

I would have kept Marth, Ike, Lucina because they are import and fan favorites from the series, and I'll add a new one (like you can see I chose Micaiah) than i would choose Robin if there were a "We have time and space for more characters."
TZ was considered for Brawl and the only reason I added her is because I wanted another Toon character in smash.
I just want DP and Lucina to get original moveset. If that doesn't happen then whatever, but I REALLY don't want to see them turning back to alts.
It was either her or Viridi, i would be ok with either, but I really dislike the idea of Hades in smash.
I would never take something like that personally. I respect your opinions as well, My favorite thing about fan made rosters is to discuss it and see others opinion on the characters they want.

I don't see how he is bias to his games. He was originally only going to add 1 newcomer from his games and it was Palutena, but because of extra time he could make DP to a character.

I love the outerspace menu background. It'd be cool if they actually did something like this for the NX version. But I feel like Daisy is definitely due for her Smash spot. If Waluigi and even Mona can be in then Daisy should have just as much chance. Not forcing you to add her though. Just my thoughts

I think Daisy in Smash as a character is a low chance, She would have a bigger chance of making it in as a alternate costume for Peach(Not a colour swap). But who knows, Lucina, DP and Dr. Mario were originally going to be alts,but because Sakurai had extra development time he could make them original characters.(but I still think alph deserves to become clone first)

I think Daisy should've definitely been an alt character for Peach instead of a color in SSB4. It's pretty unfair that Bowser Jr. gets the Koopalings but Daisy is just a color for Peach. Lol they must hate her

I don't think relevancy has anything to do with it, since Dr. Mario is a spin off character yet he's in. And to me a color swap seems like they definitely do hate her, seeing that they had begun using actual alts in SSB4. But I guess I shouldn't complain, since Peach in her Daisy colors kind of does look like Daisy so

1: Unlike Daisy, Waluigi has no other character that he can be an alt for(Color Swap, but not an alternative)
2: He is more of a requested of a character than her.
3: He is already a character in smash as an assist trophy and just like little mac (and Takamaru originally) it makes him a bigger chance to be in smash (and before you say I know there exist other assist trophies that isn't likely to be in smash)
4: He's a villain and we need more of those.
5: There already exist a fan modded version of him for ssbb and looks pretty fine to me.

This is your best roster yet! Diversity all-round. Let's see here...
King Boo: Okay. Reoccurring Mario villain. Luigi's Mansion rep... He would a great addition. The only problem I can think of would be coming up with a moveset.
King K. Rool: It's been said over and over. We need him in Smash. I'm actually surprised he didn't win the ballot.
Waluigi: If space waifu made it, Waluigi is an almost shoe-in for next Smash.
Mona: When it comes to Wario Ware, I guess it's all up to preference.
Young Link: It would be cool for him to come back with a Majora's Mask/Hyrule Warriors moveset, but I can see him more likely ending up as an alt for Toon Link.
Toon Zelda: As long as she's not a clone (which you probably don't see her as being one. She was considered for Brawl. If we did get a Toon Zelda, I'd rather see her fight as Tetra.
Lana: Hyrule Warriors rep and tons of moveset potential. You already know how I feel about her.
Phosphora: Again why? Phosphora wasn't even a major character in Uprising. I still personally think Viridi (not going to include Hades this time since I know how you feel about him and I don't want to have that discussion again) would be a better option due to being a major character and the fact that Sakurai acknowledged the fact that people wanted her with a Mii costume.
Bandana Dee: You know how I feel about him already.
Squirtle and Ivysaur: It would be cool if these two came back. Ivysaur was actually my favorite when I first got Brawl. I just don't see it as likely.
Pichu: I guess. Just make it a semi-clone and not make it hurt itself and I would agree to it.
Gardevoir: If we got a Gen 3 Pokemon, Gardevoir is a great choice. Especially since Gardevoir already has a moveset in Pokken.
Micaiah: Having another magic user would be cool, though I can see a lot of people being salty over a seventh FE character.
Henry: Never played Codename Steam and isn't too popular. That didn't stop Shulk though.

Isaac: Another somewhat unknown character from an unappreciated franchise. A lot of people want him and I'm one of them.
Fiora: If we did get a second Xenoblade character, I think a Xenoblade X character like Cross or Elma like you put would be better.
Don't know the two people after her are...
Dark Samus: One the surface, people would get upset since they'd expect her to be a clone. Though she has a lot of potential to not be a clone from her boss fight moves.
Black Shadow: I'd rather have a unique Ganon and a unique F-Zero rep. Unless you can think of a unique moveset for him.
Kumatora: I do not think a third Mother would be likely, but it's still possible. I personally prefer Ninten from Mother 1 though.
Inkling: I'm surprised they WEREN'T added for Smash 4. They have to be saving them for Smash 5.
Exciterbiker: The classic old school character you picked. He'd certainly be unique.
Phoenix Wright: I have no objections.
Don't know who's after Pac Man...
Rayman: If Ubisoft is in, sure.
Shantae: Hopefully she gets more support the second time around.

Being that it's an updated version of the version I didn't want to have the same background, but I still wanted the same portrait(Except for Roy) to be in it. and of course there were characters I wanted to get in (Chibi Robo, Zan's, separation Alph, Leon, Eelektross and more and more) but I wanted every character that has been in smash to get in in first hand and also reasonable characters even if I don't like them being in smash(Rosalina, Dr.Mario, Inkling and Pacman )

Pichu: Well if Pichu did return to smash I have nothing against him hurting himself, as long as he is faster, lighter and damage more than Pikachu.

Sami: Sami is the one after Henry and is from Advance Wars.
Fiora: Well Fiora was the "If _____ becomes a character _____ is the next character to choose" if Shulk got in before Xenoblade X + She has already made an appearance in another game outside Xenoblade already, so why not smash?
Zael: Zael is the main character in The Last Story. just like Xenoblade The Last Story is one of the Wii's hidden gem.
Frøy/Frey: Frey is from Zangeki no Reginleiv. ZnO was only released in Japan so I didn't expect you to know who it was.

Kumatora: Well she is a fan favorite from the Mother/Earthbound series. Being that in recant years Nintendo has been showing love to the Mother/Earthbound series and that Mother 3 is big in Japan and even outside, it wouldn't surprise me if a fan favorite got in smash.
Inkling: Well if my theory about Smash5/NX is real than I can really see it, I'm just afraid that Splattoon will be outadet and be a "Whatever" game by than. (I am not a Splatton fan, but They are hilgy likly to be added)

King Boo: Being that he's been in alot of mario games, one of Bowser's most important Alias and even the main villain in Luigi's Mansion. So he is the most reliable mario villain to get in smash. And his moveset... I have it somewhere, but I don't remember where...
Lana: True, but in every zelda game(Except Hyrule Warriors) she not a seen as a real fighter in my eyes. Would like to see her, but meh.
Toon Zelda: The only reason I added her is because I wanted another Toon character in smash and TZ was considered for Brawl.
Bandana Dee: Just look at how he plays in adventure wii/return to dreamland and say that's not a basic start of his moveset.
S & I: Yet you added Meowth
Micaiah: Micaiah is the character between Ike and Lucina and is the Main character in FE10/Radiant Dawn, she is more than worthy to be in smash. She is the ONLY Lord in FE that doesn't uses ordinary weapons. She is a Mage that uses Tomes and Staffs and have been a highly requested character from the FE community to be included in smash and apparently in Japan she was a very poppulaur character for the ballot.
Henry Fleming: Henry is the character between Kamui and Sami and is the main character in Codename S.T.E.A.M. Codename S.T.E.A.M was my favorite game that Nintendo Releases 2015 and it really didn't sell well and became a 3DS hidden gem, but he still a worthy character for smash 5/NX and he got a lot of potential for a original moveset.
Isaac: He was actually a very highly requested character for the smash ballot and when he got removed as an asistrophy, a lot of people thought he would be added as a character, unlike other rejected assist trophies.
(The guy who have added 4 AC characters in his roster thinks that adding 2 XB are to many XD)
Mecha Fiora: She was always the "If Shulk got in smash, she gota be the next Xenoblade Character" She has a lot of potatinal for smash. She would be a dual wielding fighter with some long range and the only dual wielders in smash so far is Pit and Dark Pit.
Elma: Elma is the second main character, but still the most important character in Xenoblade X. She is the leader of the Reclaimers Division and dual wields guns but can still fight close range with them. She is already a character people speculated to be in the next smash bros game.
Dark Samus: She is mutch more than just a skin swap for samus, People get sad when she was announced as an assist trophy and tere are many smash and metroid fans that agrees with that if Ridley cant get in smash Dark Samus would be the next best thing.
Kumatora: Kumatora is the character after Lucas and she is a fan favorite from the Mother/Earthbound series. Being that in recant years Nintendo has been showing love to the Mother/Earthbound series and that Mother 3 in really big in Japan and even outside, it wouldn't surprise me if a fan favorite got in smash.
Phoenix Wright: Have you seen his moves in marvel vs capcom 3 and Smash Bros Crusade? Looks like he got some pretty fine moves to me.
KOS-MOS: KOS-MOS is the character behind Pac-Man and Is from Xenosaga. Being that Band Namco helped the smash 4 development and it was originally planned to have two BN character in Smash and because Lloyd and Heihachi Become Mii costumes(I know it doesn't disconfirm them or anything) and that Xenosaga was the was the ground to Xenoblade and made it a thing, I can totally see them adding the Main character from that series in smash.

HF: Hmm. I'm on the fence on this one. I mean R.O.B.'s game stunk and he got in. But he got in more for his iconicneness, but CS is a better game. So I'm officially indifferent on Henry F.
(AC has been around since N64, XB since DS. AC has 7 games, XB has 2. AC has their own line of Amiibo (2 actually), XB does not have any.)
Dark Samus: Fair enough. I'll agree only cause Metroid needs more reps and there are very few.

I don't know if it be an updated version (as SSB Wii U was kind of an update to SSB 3DS) but I'm sure there will be one for it! And really, that's why I cut some of the "veterans" to alt costumes, to get the characters I wanted in more (YAY LEON!) Wait a minute WOAH WOAH WOAH: how can you not like Pac Man? He's like the grandfather of gaming? He's more retro than Mario himself. He's more of an icon than Mario. He's the only character I'd say deserves to be in Smash more than Mario! I....don't know how to take that...I can see Rosalina, but Pac Man! And you wanted ELEKTROSS more than Pac man! I...I...

HF: Well the reason why R.O.B is in is because there has always existed the "odd" fighter in every smash. Smash 4 = Wii Fit Trainer, Brawl = R.O.B, Melee = Mr. G&W and the original = Captain Falcon. but it doesn't change the fact that Henry is a good main character with a lot of potential for his moves to be interesting.
(The Xeno series has been around since 98, while AC was first released in 01, but got released world while 02-03. And we all know how good people react to what AC amiibos were for + It still doesn't change the fact that you added 4 AC character and I added just 2 XB characters)
Phoenix Wright: Well... Let's just say that his play style works in a real smash game if you wouldn't like to look it up.
KOS-MOS: I love Dig-Dug and it's actually my favorite Namco game when I was a kid, but do I think there is a charge for hi to make it in as a playable character? Nope, Assist trophy as best.
I'm sure it's going to bee an updated version, The NX need to have games when it's released and smash is Nintendo's big sellar it's highly likely they will release a smash in or at least announce a smash that will be released 1-2 years after, rather than waiting 6-8 years for a new one. and because it's an updated version that pulls away from the wii u and 3ds and put in more content and things that got removed from smash 4 because of reasons. (Ice Climbers, Dr. Mario stage, Brain Age stage, Some trophies and so on and so on.) and adding new and past content as well in it as well.
I know Pac-man is Iconic for being the face of old school games and all, but he is literally boring nowadays and the only actually good game with him is the arcade one, which was released over 30 years from now. He doesn't have a good personality and unlike other past game characters that has evolved and gotten good or bad personalities, pacmans is just bland. Almost all his attack are based out off other games because even Sakurai can't come up with a original movesets for him, he even said that when Miyamoto tried to convince him to put Pac-man in brawl, hell even people who have speculated moves for him just scraping in the bottom of the barrel (but it was actually better than what we got in the final version). Almost no one asked for pacman to be in smash until we got to know that Namco help with the development, than every it just was from "I don se him in smash" to "PAC-MAN CONFIRMED!". There exist a lot more why I dislike him being in smash, but that's the basic.

(Not on Nintendo consoles. It was on the Playstation. That's not a classic Nintendo series in my eyes. Does it matter? I don't care for what they for, yet I have almost all of the 1st series of cards and all all the Amiibo, just because I like AC. 2? Well then who are the other 2 characters next to them from?)
But...it's Pac Man. He was the only character introduced in SS4 that actually shocked me and made me hyped for the game. Thinking of the fact that the four greatest reps in video gaming would be together was what made me want that game even more so than before. I agree on the moveset, but what do you expect.

Zael: Zael is the main character in The Last Story. Zael is a mercenary and a strong swordsman who can unleash powerful Wind attacks from his blade. Just like Xenoblade The Last Story is one of the Wii's hidden gem.
Frøy/Frey: Frey is from Zangeki no Reginleiv. Frey is a young god and a master of swordarts. ZnO was only released in Japan so I didn't expect you to know who it was. from what I have seen of the game and read about him, he's loks likke he could be an interesting addition to the roster.(and hopefully like Fire Emblem and The Mysterious Murasame Castle give us the game outside Japan...)
Pac-Man: For me it was different, First I thought that the Red and Blue colors would combine and become purple and I screamed of happiness because I thought they were going to add Rayman, but than the yellow line came and I thought "no no no" then it became a circle "No NO NO!" and than he was confirmed and I had never been so disappointed about a character before. Rosalina was someone that I got disappointed about because characters from the Mario series like Waluigi and B. JR deserved to be in the game more. Even if she is my favorit mario girl and has huge fan base, Rosalina didn't deserve to be in before them. Pac-Man on the other hand was on a league on its own, So manny 1st, 2nd and 3rd party characters that needed or deserved or was craved to be in smash before him. Yes the four biggest icons for video games are in smash, but Pac-Man is literally the icon of being an old video game character. Literally every 3rd party character have a title. Ryu = Fighting games Icon, Cloud = The Face of RPGs, Sonic = The Big Rival, Pac-Man = Mr. Oldschool himself. Say one game that's good and that's not based of the original one or is the original one. What did i expect of his moves? Moves that were and felt like his own.

Pac Man: I can understand the disappointment. Well, I'd say Rosalina and Waluigi are equal. Waluigi has been around longer, but he really hasn't been in a Mario game that was not a spin off (Mario Party, Kart, etc.) I hoped Bowser Jr. wasn't going to get into Smash. When he was revealed, I was almost not going to buy it because of it. UNTIL, I saw they included the 7 Koopalings as alts. That made me feel better (that they didn't disregard the Koopalings AGAIN!) Rosalina is also my favorite Mario girl. I myself liked Pac Man World 2. Good is a very matter of opinion too. I'll agree to that, about the moves. I think they could have done a better job. But then again, look at Duck Hunt. Some of his moves are inspired by other Zapper games and not his own. Cause all that (explicit) did was laugh at us all the (explicit) time.

Pac Man: Pac Man World 2 was at best decent in my opinion. True, but at least Duck Hunt Duo Was heavily requested to be in smash and it's not stated that you only play as the dog, but as all Duck Hunt characters and not only the dog. (The Wild Gunmans are the only thing that doesn't fit in )

I'm already sold with Micaiah in that roster, but other options like K. Rool, Bandana Dee, Fiora, Phoenix Wright, Kos-Mos, etc. are really cool in my opinion.
