You have very good basics. Your blood groove is very good, it's really hard to get it this consistent by hand. Give yourself bonus points. To make making it easier use the bo-hi cutter I designed. [link] It's really easy to make and simple to use. The design of the tsuba is a good one, pat yourself on the back for it. It is a little thick though. What I use is 1/8" maple plywood. You can cut it with a razor knife and is less likely to break than straight wood. You can get small pieces at any store that installs door inserts. A piece 16" X 36" will last you for ages, or you can often find it in old drawers. If you can find a piece over 36" it can be used for scabbards.
To help with the blade edge make a blade shaper. [link] It really helps.
Now where you need work is on your finishing. The secret to a good finish is latex primer. I put on 6 or more coats starting to sand at 3 use 220 sand paper to start and don't be concerned if you sand right through in areas. Keep adding primer and sanding with finer sandpaper until you get a totally smooth surface. Look at the sword with a bright light or sunlight coming through a window. If you make a white sword like Sode No Shiryuki the whole surface must be totally white otherwise you will use a lot of paint to cover and dark spots.
In conclusion based on what I am seeing I'm very sure you will be kicking my ass in no time.

lol. i highly doubt that. "be kicking my ass in no time"
for me to win, youd have to have some fault
and yes, i saw those jigs u made up earlier today. they look like they would help a lot. im thinking im going to make about 3-5 different sizes of shapers. im interested in the way that u have to use that tool with a curved blade tho... eager to try it. i may go outside and make a few of those jigs right now. its only midnight right?
and yea. i do need help with painting. i HATE painting. >.<
i dont even know what a primer is.
i know what spray paint is. and i know what polyeurethane is. thats about the extent of my knowledge.

Go to anyplace that sells paint and buy a can of latex Drywall primer sealer. That's the best thing to use. The best way to apply it is with a good foam roller, do NOT use one from a dollar store.
The bo-hi cutter will follow any edge, straight or curved.

It's in my first comment. Primer is used to prepare the surface for painting. It fills in the grain and small flaws to provide a smooth finish. Paint also sticks better when put on a primed surface.
When I start my finish painting I have sanded it with 600 sand paper and finished with superfine steel wool until the surface is like glass. Like I said use at least 6 coats and sand after the first 3 using 220 paper. Use a foam roller to avoid brush strokes.

you have some pretty interesting props in your gallery indeed... some of them maybe a bit too brightly colored for my personal taste, but well done! you use wood i suppose? can i ask which kind?

well.. Technically.. i use different kinds on some of them.. MOSTLY select pine.. but ive used (red) oak, poplar, and maple in the past. and the point of Some wooden swords is to be colorful and catchy.. its what gives it an edge over metal.. well... that and being about 10 times faster/easier... *sigh.. im gonna work with metal at Some time.. -.-

of course it is, since so many of them are also cosplay props. i was only talking about my personal preference, it was not meant at all against your swords thanks for the info otherwise! ^^
