Description
The range of attack for the Starblade class frigate is well out of visual range for normal species and thus must rely on other sensors. This specific Starblade attempts to hide its heat signature in low orbit to catch the drop on another ship.

The Starblade is a common but effective frigate of Kandorian design. This model has 4 turreted pulse lasers delivering giga watts of energy to the surface of enemies. Its effective range is missive compared to most ships and its spinning mirror armor prevents laser damage even more. it also has dusty plasmatic radiators dubbed the "etheric wings" allowing it to expel heat with less of a chance of its radiators being shot off. It isn't without its flaws however, as any any damage to the frontal armor limits its laser protection. Its thrusters being limited to the rear hull also prevents it from being too maneuverable. lastly its high energy needs means it shines line a beacon whenever using its main weapon, making it next to impossible to miss them when out in deep space. It carry's about 25 crew with escape pods for up to 32 average sized sapients. Due to this ship being made primarily for Kandorian biology, it is rare to see crew members of other species as crew. patrol models carry 4 repair drones to allow quick repairs out in the field
