Description
A Metacity/Mutter theme based on the ACID suite by sixsixfiveDownload the GNOME-Shell theme here !
Changelog:
-20 August 2014:
Window decorations are now fully drawn, and only use pixmaps for icons if this is unsupported. This means you can change the colours from the metacity-theme-2.xml theme file easily.
Theme now reads the current GTK theme's suggested window border colours before applying the default ones (only works on some GTK themes).

Hi, I am using Gnome 3.18.2,
when I click on my account and network setting at the up right corner, my desktop crashes.
It only happens when using ACID theme, hope can find a way to fix this.

I tried replicating it on my system, but I can't figure out how to set a Metacity theme in GNOME 3.18, as it uses GTK to draw the window borders now. This is for the Metacity theme right, not GNOME-Shell?

Hey, this doesn't seem to work for me.
I run MATE 1.8.2 with Marco 1.8.3 (for some reason).
I can see the ACID theme in the manager, but the thumbnail has a "?" in it and the theme doesn't apply.

I haven't used MATE, but from looking it up it seems that Marco is the MATE fork of Metacity?Β I don't know where it would get a thumbnail from, there's none in the theme.Β Could you try perhaps testing it out in Metacity if that is possible?Β The Arch Linux wiki has instructionsΒ wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mβ¦

Is it possible to get these working on elementaryOS at all?

I'm pretty sure it should work.

the secret is... it's just a script that outputs the screen to the terminal, you can't play the game.

Space Invaders? Also, there is a CLI version called "Ninvaders", if you'd like to check it out.

I really like the way this looks!!
I'm almost sure it's something on my end, but I can't get the theme to work.
Info: I just upgraded from Fedora 17 to Fedora 18. I'm using gnome-shell (and your gnome-shell theme, btw! lovely!) and I'm not sure how to determine which window manager is being used, but everything is at its defaults with regard to that, so I'd assume Mutter?
Either way, I dropped the ACID folder into the ~/.themes/ folder and while I can select in gnome-tweak-tool, nothing changes.
Do you know what could be going on? :/

Oh, looks like it also fixes it to create a link of .local/share/themes that points to .themes

There's a bug with the latest GNOME that Mutter/Metacity themes put in .themes don't load, you need to move it to /usr/share/themes. Thanks

It's not a game, it's just a script that prints that picture ^^
