This was a great way to combine all the designs Ben has had together.Β
The first 3 seasons of his rants (2009-2011) were extremely fun, creative and gave me the feeling that I wasn't alone in the views he expressed. He addressed topics that needed to be ranted on and torn to pieces and he always succeeded despite legions of people making commentaries against him . I can't say the same for the videos he made during the 2012 relaunch Β though.Β

My reason for not liking most of the videos made after 2011 (And especially the videos made in 2013) is that he took away his focus on ranting and talking about the things wrong with society and replaced them with jokes and characters (Which in my opinion weren't really needed, Neb was funny at first until Ben decided to turn him into a regular character) and put them as the primary focus instead of what Ben was fully established for, in addition to constant contradictions of opinions (I know opinions can change over time, but there's that and being so inconsistent to the point of where it's hard to take your videos seriously). His original video series wasn't really meant to be funny but made me feel like I'm not alone when it came to the opinions of Β the subjects that he was ranting on. I understand that Ben wanted to change things up a bit as it would keep his videos fresh, but having a Nostalgia Critic-like formula was not the way to go in my opinion.Β
