Technically, I suppose this is a photo of a painting. Granted, the painting happens to be a solid Sherwin-Williams color called "Software" applied to a V16-645E EMD diesel engine inside Maine Eastern FL9 #489 (built as New Haven #2021), but I painted it myself! Does it count?July 6, 2012 in Morristown, NJ

The turbos ate fuel. FL9's are actually far more fuel efficient.

I would still call it traditional media painting. I was just mentioning the typical path traditional art takes to get here.
Though photography does have....
