By the time of the Allied landings in Normandy, the Wehrmacht found itself in dire straights and lacking the numbers of heavy weapons to defend its boarders. The Ausf C JagdDonner was the final variant of the Donner to be fielded. A new and powerful engine allowed the Ausf C to carry much heavier load-outs than previous walkers, and advances in Suspension and Engine Transmissions resolved the problems of wear and tear of earlier models, though its operational range remained somewhat limited to that of earlier versions due to higher fuel consumption... The Ausf C was armed with an impressive array of weapons including an updated 8.8cm gun, 4 Panzerfausts, and 12 10cm Mortar tubes, making it the most fearsome variant of the Donner to ever be fielded!
