Description
A cake with turtles on it!I used marshmallow fondant for both covering the cake and sculpting the turtles. I then took some food dye, added water, and painted designs on the cake.

Oh, that's wonderful, as usual. I'm all inspired to go make little marshmallow creatures and stick them on top of pancakes or something and call it cake. Pancakes are about the height of my cooking prowess... ^^

Never made that pancake, but a friend and I made a big cookie and decorated it with icing for Dr. Chu's birthday... didn't get any pictures though. And it wasn't anything as cool as what you make. Tasted good though.

Great color hun. I don't know that I've seen anything that looked like this frosting-wise before. Looks plasticy, sorta artificial. Was there something special in the mixture to get that effect? As always, your works are amazingly fun and colorful. PROPS

Its actually fondant, and not regular frosting. It's a mixture of marshmallow and confectioners sugar kneaded until its a doughy mixture. Then it's placed over the cake. It looks a little shiny because I painted it and used water. I'm so glad you like it!
