ik heb over 2 weken mijn echte examens!! pfff :$ ik ben zenuuwaachttiigg
ik ben voor mijn keuze vak al geslaagd dus dat is helemaal super leuk om te weten (A),
nu nog die andere vakken! en economie en Wiskunde zit ik het meeste tegenaan te hikken
maar goed ik werkk de laatste tijd ook heel veel

Such a beautiful drawing.. I'm finding it hard to believe the darkest pencil you've used is 3B. The sky looks great.

Well I used pencils like 6B and 8B in the past and allways had trouble getting good darks...then I got a tip from Rick: he said for real black use 2B because pencils like 6B hold too much clay/wax...
And I found he is right...Rick has many tutorials and tips, when you have time you should check him out: [link]

Wonderful. I have found that darker pencils create much more texture as well, sometimes unwanted, and I always need a layer underneath with lighter pencils like H and 2Bs in order to get a smoother look. Thank you very much for the tip and the link, and congratulations on your win.
