Description
If this looks fimilar, it should. I always liked the scene in the opening of WHR where Robin is playfully trying to balance herself on the side of the street as she walks along it. I've always thought that this displayed her innocence despite her given profession. Its one of those short-lived situations where you get to see her relaxed and unbothered by who and what she is, and what she's called to do.She has her suitcase in the opening, which implies that she's waiting for an STN-J escort to pick her up and drop her off at STN-J headquarters. The scene implies that she's recently arrived in Japan (from Italy), which is how the first episode starts, with her arriving at STN-J
I used a screen capture as a reference for this.
Full-views are always appriciated

I wonder if you can redownload it if you delete it from your computer, and download another trial from the adobe site under a new e-mail. Because, I already know that you wouldn't be able to re-new a trial version, and they may have a way of detecting whether your system has already had a trial on it before.
If all else fails, and you cannot pay to buy the program itself, then you can always torrent it. Although that can take a long time and be very frustrating.

You could always download the program using a torrent. I don't think using another e-mail or account will work. Even if you get to download another trial, it may still show that you have 0 days left. If you were to use a download service like limewire or azureus, you could probably get a full version, or a hack that would allow you to turn a trial version into a full version.
Doing this type of thing is illegal, though. So please use caution.

Photoshop and Painter are both very expensive programs. Don't feel bad about it.
Yes, you could download it off of limewire or torrent it. Or, you could just download the crack program and use it on the trial version.

I just recently downloaded photoshop CS2 myself. Its the first time I've ever used photoshop, and its the most recent one at that. So, its a bit confusing and it will take some time to get used to the interface (since I'm a Painter person and the programs are slightly different).
The only reason I downloaded photoshop, though, was so I could use screentones for my manga. Unfortunately, I could not find any screentones that are compatible with painter. So, for my drawing, painting, and color, I'll use painter as always. But for the manga I'll use photoshop.
Photoshop cs3 is coming out soon, but what I already have is more than enough.

Well, its not a manga with any of my original characters right now. Right now I'm just messing around with fanart manga to get experience for my series. You know, thats a good way to gain experience.

I think one-shot doujins are easier, actually. I think its because theres a sense of no commitment attached to it. In other words, you don't have to continue it if you don't feel like it. Its a self-contained story.
You are not ranting, silly. If you are, then I am ranting much more than you.

eyes2blues In reply to Thesis-D [2007-01-03 06:41:36 +0000 UTC]
the reason that i dont like to make one shots because its hard to say everything in one story... i am talking more about the content rather than the drawing itself... or maybe i'm just not too talented when making stories that's why i'm having such a hard time >_< you see, this time, its really hard to make a unique and sweet (eeww... i'm talking like a girl now) plot. somehow people may find one story cliche-ish... hahaha...
hehe... okay, both of us are ranting then.. lolz... its so much fun talking to you!

Thesis-D In reply to eyes2blues [2007-01-04 00:32:20 +0000 UTC]
I understand what you mean. ^^
I think one shot stories are easier because it allows you to condense it into a short story, and, thus, only use the script that you want to use at that time. Its easier to manage smaller pieces in that way.
A typical manga is up to 30 pages long. A typical short manga or doujinshi is anywhere from 10-20 pages. Since you're working with smaller parameters, its easier to make a shorter story than having a large story and having to sacrifice large parts of it in order to make it fit. If you've got an ongoing story, then obviously a single issue or volume is not enough.
Short stories are meant to be told in one sitting.

aww... im glad i did make sense in my previous message...
anywayz, my one shot are always composed of like 8 pages so i really crammed it up... i wanted to showlotsa scenes but it wont fit the page... haha.. but yeah, it was my fault for doing so...
i want to think of a very unique story i can use as a one shot.. i wanna make one again!

It would help if you write the script first, and then edit the script so it fits on the pages you plan on having.

waaah WHR fanart yayz! I keep forgetting the shaw had an opening since they never showed it on TV, I love the song though (it's in my all-time fave anime songs file) Nice BG, really rainy and gloomy, perfect for WHR fanart

Yeah, I was listening to the song through drawing this. Listening to the music of an anime as I draw a fanart of that anime, game, or whatever, is fun and can be inspirational. Thanks.
