[PREVIOUS IMAGE: www.deviantart.com/thespiderma… ]----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And so, the mad prince himself has finally revealed himself. You can definetly see the changes this man has gone through....more so his new Ztar form! Much better then some squigly Tornado; that's for sure!

TATTLE LOG
Prince Kitu
Prince Kitu: That’s Prince Kituca “Kitu” Lakiabarr, the tyrannical prince of the Cloud Kingdom. He stole the throne from the true heir, Larrikitu - his own brother, just for extra jerk points - and seeks to prove that fear and oppression can build a stronger kingdom than the love and kindness preached by his late father. That’s a recipe for disaster if ever I’ve heard it, but we’ll spare him the inevitable revolution by stopping him here and now!
HP 50
ATK: 3
DEF: 0
Special: Royal Roller, Royal Wall, Thunderstrike, Heavy Wind, Rightful Heir’s Fanfare
Additional Notes: Prince Kitu fights with tried-and-true Lakitu tactics, hurling Spiny Eggs to bop us or call in reinforcements; however, his Royal Spiny Eggs do more damage and spawn tougher Spinies. He’s also got more advanced egg tricks, like rolling them on the ground to hit both of us at once or stacking them up to shield himself from attacks, but he can also attack us with his cloud. It can zap you with lightning or blow your partner away with intense wind; you’ll need to switch in someone else if that happens. Kitu even rigged it with horns…somehow…to play his own royal fanfare, boosting his stats and his terminally-massive ego. All in all, he can almost back up his ridiculous bluster; use your best aerial attacks to knock him off his high horse! …Or cloud, as it may be.
Royal Spiny
Royal Spiny: This is a Royal Spiny, one of Kitu’s pets-slash-weapons. If I recall the pamphlets correctly, it’s a Spiny subspecies raised for the exclusive use of the Cloud Kingdom’s royal family…which begs the question of what happens if a non-Lakitu ever took over, doesn’t it? At any rate, you can tell that it’s meant for royalty; it’s shinier, snobbier, and generally spoiled-looking compared to the average Spiny.
HP 7
ATK: 3
DEF: 1
Special: Defense Curl
Additional Notes: As the Lakiabarr family’s pets, Royal Spinies are bred for physical longevity over combat effectiveness; they have higher HP and lower DEF than the garden-variety Spiny as a result. However, their spikes are every bit as sharp, giving their rolling attack the same potency, and their thinner shell won’t stop them from becoming completely invincible when they curl up. They’re as annoying as their non-golden brethren, but they’re just a distraction compared to Prince Kitu; try to pick them off with multi-target moves so we can focus our attacks on the pompous pest throwing them at us!
ZTAR LOG
Zyklone
Zyklone: That massive monstrosity that used to be Prince Kitu is known as Zyklone. Typhoon’s dark power and element of wind have enabled him to take a form resembling his Cloud Spirit ancestors……? Wait, what? We never established an evolutionary link between Lakitus and Cloud Spirits…unless………! BAAAAAAAAARRRRYYYY!!!
HP 50
ATK: 6
DEF: 1
Special: Bladed Gust, Terror Tornado, Heavy Wind, Violent Storm, Dodgy Breeze, Wretched Whirlwind, Cheerless Cyclone
Additional Notes: Thanks to his titanic size, Zyklone is out of range for most of our attacks, including your Jump and your Hammer! He can flick one of us with his finger or summon a barrage of literally cutting winds to hit us both; block each gust to minimize the damage. While those are his only attacks, his wind powers enable him to perform all sorts of disruptive effects; making us Dizzy or Immobile, making himself Dodgy, blowing away your partner and even disabling your battle commands…somehow.
There’s an additional risk in this battle, Mario; our airship. We’re taking a huge risk fighting Zyklone up here; he could knock us right out of the sky if he destroys the mobile lab. If it looks like he’s preparing to attack our vehicle, do everything you can to stop him; our shields should be able to absorb a hit or two, but I’d strongly advise against testing their limits! I never thought I’d be afraid of being airborne, but the sooner we beat Zyklone, the better!

The only thing different about this team up is the name for the Necro child dark star du jour. I thought "Gale" would be the wind/air star's name. Kitu's Ztar form reminds me of a dark genie, not quite Jafar from Disney's Aladdin but something similar to that design. The only thing really intimidating about Kitu's normal form is that dark Thunderhead he rides with the mismatched eyes, and the stronger Spinies he throws.

Fun fact, I had originally wanted Kitu's cloud to take on a more "Kracko" approach...with the spikes and all that. But I decided to go against that and stick to a storm cloud with red jewel for an eye

Oh, the cotton candy cloud with ice cream cone spikes from the Kirby series. I know about Kracko, and I think the most cuddly form of the enemy (my favorite one too) is in Kirby's Epic Yarn.

So this is the redesigned Prince Kitu and his Ztar form. All in all, very nice, and the new Zyklone looks far better than your squiggle of a tornado...
… even though it does make my own version obsolete... Oh well.
On another note, from reading Chapter 4, I've been getting a bit of an Arabian vibe from this chapter just from the word sultan (don't ask), and the fact that Zyklone resembles a genie kinda reinforces that. Which begs this question: were you going for an Arabian feel or was that just me?
