Description
I've been wanting to experiment more with this piece than previous ones and I think it paid off. Lots of vectors in Illustrator used and then some other stuff in Photoshop. Criticisms and comments would be appreciated.Related content

very nice! i like how you did the pen tool thing
one point of critique: I think it's a bit too busy at certain areas.

Cool, I especially like the binding rings up the left hand side... give it a real edge.

Hell yeah, I would too. I'm actually thinking of printing it out without the spiral part and then putting it as the actual cover to a notebook.

WELL....*L* this is really nice! I'm actually envious because I have tried to do something like this in the past but I just can't do it (it frustrates me!).

Nice! involoved. I like the spiral bound notebook accent to the left and the atmospheric perspective in grey. Has an impression of one looking through some sillouette of wreckage. How do you create the intricate rings and mechanical stuff?

For the rings and the mechanical stuff I used Illustrator. It didn't take too long since I've started to get into the habit of sketching out what the 2d will look like.
