Prompt: The Ominous Mark

After consulting with Orla, Maeve continued to be patient with their meditations and communions. They seek answers from the Gods and remain vigilant and open to signs. Something ripples beneath the calm waves as they're about to call it a night. Something dark and ominous. Maeve can only make out the vague silhouette of the mysterious shape, and as they step forward to investigate, they can see the dim reflection of black pearls staring back at them. With an audible gasp, they step back, and the shape dissolves into the shadows of the water once more. Was this an answer from Lytia? Or perhaps a warning. Whatever it was, Maeve needed to notify Oleander immediately of their discovery.

I actually really enjoy drawing water now wtf. I never thought id see the day LMAO. this creature, on the other hand, was a pain in my ass but I finally called it quits LOL. Obviously, there is no actual creature, but it's Maeve interpretations C: Spooky~
