My first piece of chainmaille. Ever. Period. Nickel-silver rings, all cut using a dremel tool. I wish I had a size on 'em, since they're absolutely perfect for the Box-chain.I actually -discovered- Euro 4-1 on this piece. At least, I made it without ever having seen a guide of it. I -had- seen a guide and made a box-chain before, and in the process had figured out how to make this. I just kept adding to it, and was going to use it to make a gauntlet / glove, but lost my knitting needles before I ever got enough rings ( Plus my teacher was getting pissed I was using all his nickelsilver... Oops ).
It pops up occasionally in my stuff, then I lose it for another six months or so. This has been going on about two and a half years now.

Are you planning to use it as a centerpiece for something? Like a bag, it would make a good overflap for a bag.

Nah. I leave it be. You see, people call this piece my 'Slinky'. This is because it flows when you play with it, like cloth more than water. As a result, people just play with it.

My friend who taught me euro 4in1 had a bracelet like that. It was galvanized steel, but people played with it so much it had a polished gleam that looked like polished graphite.
