Wow - would have taken a lot of resources to handle so many characters in one scene ... I don't think I could even attempt that with my computer.

In fact, with Octane, what really matters is the number of textures, not so much the geometry (at least with 3Gb vram). In this scene, many characters share the same textures, and all the hidden parts have their textures removed (human skin, ...) so I kept the texture count fairly low and I could render the scene in one pass.
