Exercising further my watercolour abilities.A a classic griffin/hippogryph scene of the beast high in the mountains spotting the prey.
A3, watercolour and oil pastels and a little bit of PS retouch.

But seriously, the color composition works really well, clouds and stone texture quite nice. As for the beast itself. Love the details on the plumage, you definately had to check out how wings worked didn't you
