    They entered the Holloway home and Alex automatically felt tense. He just realized a house full of women. Elle was sitting with Nora and their mother, along with three other women. They were planning for the wedding.

   Choruses of 'aw' and 'he is so cute' murmured amongst the young women.

   "Who is this?" a chunky red-head chirped up.

   "I'm Alex," he said softly. He was extremely uncomfortable. He had never even had a girlfriend and didn't even have any close female relatives. Being in a room with so many females made him uneasy,but he was glad to see Elle again and Nora.

    "Oh, your best friend from high school, that Alex?" The girls looked over to Elle.

     "Yeah, oh Alex, this is Sarah, Kisha, and Anna." she grinned introducing the girls.

     His heart cringed at being called her friend. He knew it never got farther then that and it never would,but it still made him a little sad. Lillian and Margaret assumed positions across from the girls who sat on the ground.There was a huge oak coffee table were catalogs, sketches, and pieces of cloth all relating to the wedding that separated the two women from the group of young girls.  Alex simply leaned against the wall, he didn't feel like sitting.

     "Oh my, that is beautiful!" Elle yelped as Lillian showed her a sample of material that Alex assumed would be used for something at the wedding. All of the girls said 'It is so pretty,' or 'Wow!'. All of the noise made him uncomfortable,but something else was bothering him more. There was a certain note or sound in a song that the girls were playing in the background that got on his nerves. He began to feel dizzy and sick.

   Alex's world came crashing down, literally. He fell backward onto the hard oak table, making its legs give out. His body was shaking and convulsing uncontrollably. His eyes flickered and he felt like he couldn't move. He felt trapped. He was embarrassed, scared, and just wanted this feeling of helplessness to leave him. Elle grabbed his tongue to make sure he didn't choke on it or bite it off. Nora called an ambulance. Lillian looked away in horror and Margaret tried her best to keep the other girls calm as they began crying.

  Why, why was this happening to him? Why here? Why now? It just wasn't fair.
