A legend from Japanese lore. The Nue had the face of a monkey, body of a tenuki, legs of a tiger, and it's tail was the front half of a snake.feel free to suggest any mythological creatures or cryptids you'd like to see illustrated next ^_^

Have you ever heard of Ahuizotl? It was my favorite mythical creature but there is not much on it..it is said to be a mix between a dog and a monkey and have a tail that looks like a human arm and hand.
it would stay under water and use its hand tail to splash around on the surface to make it look like someone is drowning and if someone reached in to help the person (Ahuizotl) then it would pull the person down and eat their eyes or something.
i made a character after it and named it Walter and had a comic of him hahahaha... in high school people were fans of the character so I made pins and people had them on their backpacks but never actually knew what it was lol

It actually sounds like it would be a lot of fun to draw, I love these chimeric creatures.
Also, Walter is a terrific name to give a dangerous mythological creature

it didnt get to far lol so it was not much of anything. Mostly i just made little one page doodles of him doing something weird or dumb haha
I made an account that I put some of the actual story on where he was a side character, let me see if I can find it XD
it was about a ghost that was trying to figure out its past when it was a human.
I think I made it in 10th grade or so so I am not sure how amazing it is XD I need to find it now! I forgot all about it till I saw this drawing though!
