Description June 19th, 1923:
It has been over 3 weeks since the two engines arrived from company's that were now part of the LNER. The 4 official engines of the NWR got to know the new engines. The blue one, named Anthony, was built on the Great Eastern Railway. The Green one was Jonathon, and was built by the Great Central Railway. Instead of a good introduction however, both engines were vain and rude to all the engines. The engine who got the worst of it was Henry. He didnt have the strength, most of the time, to even leave the sheds due to his flawed design. Anthony, until Gordon arrived in the August of 1924, took over the express trains from Henry. Jonathon was put onto goods work, leaving Henry and Edward with the local goods and passenger trains.
