Come on Feather Bangs, you can do this, he thought to himself. All you gotta do is walk over and talk to her. She's been making eyes at you all day, just... be cool

Before he could change his mind, Feather Bangs tossed his mane, pushed himself off the building he'd been leaning against and strutted over to the most gorgeous unicorn he'd ever seen. She was talking to her friends, but her eyes drifted over to him as they had been doing all day and she broke off from talking to them when she saw him coming.

Feather only began to internally freak out when she started walking towards him.

"Hello, darling ," she all but purred. "Now what's a dashing stallion such as yourself doing in a village such as this, hmm?"

"I - uh -"

"Although I do suppose it is quite quaint, once you look at it properly." She turned to him and smiled. "Miss Rarity, at your service."

"I - that's a lovely name," Feather blurted out.

"Hmm," Rarity mused. "And what, may I ask, is yours?"

"F-feather Bangs."

"Feather Bangs?" Rarity seemed taken aback. "I'm sure Sweetie Belle mentioned your name once," she lowered her eyelashes, "said you were a bit of a ladies man."

"I-"

"Would you like to join my friends and I for lunch?" She turned away and brushed her tail under his chin. "I, for one, would love your company."

All Feather could do was squeak out a 'yes please' and follow helplessly.

What had he gotten himself into?
