This is the scene of the books where Theon finally reclaims his identity by saving Jeyne Poole, AKA fake Arya.

I love how hollow-cheeked Theon is in this. Give a lot of weight to his character.

Or rather, it takes a lot of weight from him, eh? lol
Thanks a lot ^^

Yeah, I hope so too! Though it's not really looking good so far....especially not for Theon. ^^'

I agree (and it's the same for a lot of characters or so it seems), but well, I think that even death would be a better option for him if compared to the last few years he spent in the Dreadfort.
I have no idea what GRRM has in store for him, but he definitely got better during the chapters: he thinks straighter, refers to himself as Theon and not Reek, he's less frightened, more self-aware and he made it to do something like fleeing Winterfell... I mean, why kill him now that he's getting better, damn it XD ?

Because Martin is evil? D:
Seriously I don't know. I really think that Theons story isn't over yet (why would one mention the invalidation of the Kingsmoot if it isn't a plot point later) but then I also wouldn't be surprised if he just gets executed and stuffs over. I really don't want it though. Sure it might be relief for him, after everything (he even wants it himself), but for me, he deserves some happiness before he dies...>.<

he deserves a lot of happiness, cuddles, hugs, and joy. all that and more, poor dear. I so hope he's gonna survive and that there's much in store for him, and I actually don't think he's gonna be executed, I have no evidence that this isn't coming, it's just a feeling, but a strong one.
and to see him king of the Iron Island? I can't see that happening, it would be too awesomely awesome (and for that I guess he needs his dick, and I fear he's lost it ), plus, I learned not to hope with ASOIAF (that book took away my childhood, my innocence and my hope XD)

I don't think he will be executed either. It's a bit too predictable, and the whole scene seemed as if "something's up".
But sadly I also don't think he will survive the series. Though my happy end for him ismore or less the same for you. I want him as king of the Iron Islands. Meeting his mother again and such...*sigh*
