The radial blurred background really gives me a sense of speed when looking at this.

Nice touches in the back. The whole thing almost looks like a shot from a movie.

What are those cables/lines that run from the cockpit to the tail?

ThunderArc In reply to Timcreo [2014-02-02 16:12:49 +0000 UTC]
Those lines are what keeps the airplane in control! Those lines connect the controllers in the cockpits to the rudder and elevators (what makes the plane go up and down.)
So without them, these old style planes would fall out of the sky D:

Huh, 'sounds like an exposed tendon for a living airplane.

ThunderArc In reply to Timcreo [2014-02-03 01:10:28 +0000 UTC]
Yeah pretty much! That's why they are built inside the aircraft for most planes nowadays.
Or in my alternate universe, the "exposed tendon" is now bred out of aircraft, slowly creating airplanes that have their flight controls completely sealed and safe.

Oh wow. Somebody's been SHERLocked?!
What's the model of these planes? I'm guessing German? I'm not particular of WW2 aircraft .

Oh yeah I've been Sherlocked~! >:3
Oh! The one in front is a Russian MiG-3 and the one behind is a German Messerschmitt BF-109 F-4.

The motion added to the background is well done!
Though maybe you should apply a slight motion blur to the two fighters as well, to intensify the effect.

Awesome work I love it! Only thing I see wrong is that the [Insert Name Here] on the nose is on the wrong side, it's suppose to be on the left not the right.

Derp I forgot to add who it was. so it's my bad. the antenna on Vasily is fine.
Freidrich the bf-109F-4- the port on the right side of his nose (honestly forgot what it's called) but it's suppose to be on the left not the right.

Oh the giant air intake? my bad. I'm afraid it's a bit too late to fix it, the layers have been smushed and are beyond ctrl-z range~
Make that 2 derps, one for you and one for me!

It's alright I figured it couldn't be fixed I just figured I let you know if you decided to draw another bf-109 at one time.
