I love this drawing, the colors are amazing! But I'd like to point out that the pose is quite impossible. It looks like the torso is viewed from the side, while the legs and hips are viewed from the back. It is possible to move the torso apart from the hips, but not this extreme.

Every time I feel like randomly browsing dA I always find myself headed for this painting. There is a certain quiet beauty to it - it makes me think of the sort of awareness I feel walking through the mountains back home in autumn, when the scrub oaks are all red and gold and the sky is overcast. During those walks I feel like the world around me is saying "hush your thoughts, stop and listen to the stillness." It brings me great peace to do just that and some of my fondest memories are of those walks alone in the wooded foothills of my childhood home. This painting conveys those same feelings for me so it brings me a bit of peace to take a moment away from my busy college life and come look at this painting in my quiet dorm room. Thank you so much for sharing this.
