Also, watching the video really helped me appreciate the little details - like the rose, which looks great. And if you don't mind me saying, this picture has a very leonardo-da-vinci-esque feel to me, for some reason...
i think it might be the colours you chose, and her expression?

It would help this image a lot to make that rose red. Not because of the title, but because it really seems to need just one little pop of saturated color, and red would look great against all those muted, neutral greens.
