Description I made this map early this year for the Thorns RPG ([link] ). It's not very good, artistically, but I figured I should upload it anyway.

The Arova river is weird. Rivers flow from a high point to a low point, seeing them go from sea to sea is weird.

I actually really like this artistically. It's simple, but detailed in all the right places. You did a great job simply describing the land types. It inspires me to try mapping my story lands again, lol

The Arova river runs into the basin it started from. Rivers never do that, because they're defined by their motion, which is not possible when the water-level of the source and goal is the same. Rivers always flow downhill.

You could get away with something like that if you make the "river" wider and larger, and the Farmland area an island on the lake.

Oh, I see what you mean. No, the Arova isn't a true river, it doesn't flow. Anaxas is composed of 9 islands. The main three parts were separated by sea level rise.
