Description
Loosely based on the Flying Polyps of Lovecraftian horror that attacked earth in eons long gone. Though seemingly defeated by the Great Old Ones, they were not killed but merely locked away in the dark recesses of the earth, and even the Great Race feared them so mightily that they abandoned their civilization rather than risk facing them again.

The Polyp is indeed capable of flight, but sometimes touches the ground with one of its pseudo-pods, during which it extends a few tentacles, leaving behind a five-toed radial footprint. They are also able to control and manipulate wind via unknown methods, which they can use offensively.

My original drawing of this didn't have an eye, but then I decided to incorporate a disconcertingly human-like eye to give it a little more eeriness.
