Time was running out for Kion and Rani was missing to top it all off. Surak and Fuli had found the king buried under a mound of snow up in Winter Pride territory and Rani wasn't with him when he was found now Kion was suffering from a sever case of hypothermia. Nala was laid next to her son as the elderly lioness tried to lick his fur the wrong way to keep him warm. This was the last thing the royal family needed and too top it off Kion and Kiara's father, Simba just only recently passed only 3 full completed cycles of the moon had passed since the death of the old king. Kiara and the rest of her family had been through more than enough loss recently and with Kion's other four cubs he shared with Rani (one of them adopted) where becoming restless and worried for their mother's sudden absence and until their father awoke and could tell them what really happened all they could do was keep assuming. Both Nirmala and Makini have done all they could do for Kion and now it was in the hands of the great kings and queens of the past if Kion should continue his journey or if his time in the Circle of Life stopped here. Vitani and Kiara had decided to go check on the others while Nala had already headed out to have to spend time with her grandchildren and comfort them in the meanwhile. While Tiifu remained behind as well as Shujaa and Uzani did as well. Uzani cried into her brother's chest while he tried to remain strong but even Shujaa himself was getting emotional as his green gaze shifted to the top roots of the ancient tree he began to say a silent prayer that the great kings wouldn't take their dad from them just yet. They still had much more left to do together before Kion did finally pass away for real. Shujaa especially hoped his grandfather and great-grandfather, Mufasa had herd him. Tiifu stood over her from Kion's motionless form as her eyes widened in shock and the tears she'd been holding back finally fell. Despite everything that had happened between them she did still love him with everything she had in her. Tiifu let herself collapse over Kion and as Shujaa and Uzani saw their mother crying the two siblings parted from their own hug and went over to comfort their mother. Kion had to wake up he just had to so Tiifu with all her might hugged her former mate giving him her warmth to get his heartbeat and body temperature back to normal. Shujaa and Uzani did the same to their father by his belly as the two cubs pressed against his body for warmth. This had to work but all they could do was fall asleep and await for what the morning had to bring to the family of three.
