How do you make it from layers to frames in gimp? I'm not familiar with it yet.

I maked 6 layers (6 frames), last on top, and I saved in .gif format, selected 700ms for one frame and voila.

Hi again! You really helped me a lot! Thanks again for making a really easy to follow tutorial!

I was wondering, how did you make those edges on the icon? If it's difficult to explain, you don't have to!

You're very welcome I'm really glad that you found the tutorial easy to follow, it makes me very happy to know that.

I'll try to explain the edges as best I can:

1. Using the circular marquee tool, create a circle.
2. With the marquee tool still selected, move the circle to the corner of the image.
3. Right click inside the circle and select 'invert selection'
4. Using the eraser tool, erase the corner, make sure that the eraser is set on hard. As the selection is inverted, you won't be able to erase whats in the circle, so the corner will be perfectly round.
5. When finished, with the marquee tool selected again, right click and invert selection. Move the circle to another corner and repeat.

Oh, and where my edges look raised, thats the bevel and emboss being applied.
