Oh man, have I've been wanting to make this for a long time. The last time I drew him was when I did one of the Goretober days, and before that the only art I really had of him was his "reference", which was back when me tablet was broken and I had to use traditional-only. Anyways, here we have him in his full glory. He is probably of of my favorite characters at the moment.

DAISY was originally created for the group HellVampireCryps, which I'll like at the bottom later. As such, there are two versions of him; the werewolf version from the group, and my own universe where he's just a regular sized Irish wolfhound shapeshifter. His lore and stuff is basically the same here as it is in the group, excluding the names of all the places, but everything else is more or less the same. The only thing that would change would be his magic, whereas in the group he only has access to his "special ability".

I do believe that's all I have to say as of right now. There will most likely be more at the bottom so yeah.

Magic: Fire;
He can, with great precision, control and summon fire at will. The range is not infinite, and it usually ranges around 6-10 meters in diameter, 15-20-ish for ranged.
As with all fire-based abilities, there is a risk of harming himself if he's not careful enough. One such example would be his burns on his back/lower arms.

"Special ability"; Shell Shock-
This ability is based on a Daisy-cutter, which is a kind of bomb mostly used to clear foliage and/or other obstacles for landing places for helicopters and such.

DAISY's Shell Shock is a two step ability.
The first step is the launch, in which he charges his flames and uses the energy created to launch himself a few meters into the air. Depending on how much energy he has charged up, the height of the launch will differ, but it's mostly between 3-4 meters. After he has shot himself of the ground and have gotten to desired height, he then remains air born for a few seconds, giving him some time to recharge before slamming into the ground with a powerful kick. The impact causes the flames he's been charging to erupt in an out-wards manner, creating a ring of fire.
As I'm sure you understand, this ability is quite risky, as it could result in serious injuries. He needs to really concentrate in order to safely preform this. First of all, he needs to have control of the flames before launching. This is important because without full control, the flames might burn the user. DAISY himself has experienced this first hand, twice, and it's not pretty. Second, if the flames aren't fully charged when he lands, they won't have the necessary power to flare out in the desired direction and he'll have no control over where they go, and so that might result in them also hurting the user.
The landing might also end up seriously hurting the user. Slamming down from 4 meters is never pleasant, even in normal conditions, so imaging slamming into the ground at high speed with a lot of force. This landing always end up hurting him a little, which is why it shouldn't be used more than once at the time. Because of the amount of force DAISY uses to slam into the ground, he has very strong legs. But even so his legs end up hurting a lot after the impact, which usually ends up in him having trouble to get away from the scene on his own. It's because if this that he shines the brightest with others to back him up. He's an initiation tool. He is the one that starts the fight, and his comrades are the ones that finish it.
Then there's the question of where he uses it. Big, open spaces with good places to hide are optimal, but this cannot always be met. Sometimes there will be big trees or rocks in the way, sometimes it might be too open and they might see him in time to get away, and other times there might be too much or too thick foliage to get any damage done. That's why he often refrains from using his powers. Water is also another big problem. As you probably already know, water and fire don't really mix. Same goes for rain and weather that could end up putting the fire out.
The range is generally around 5-6 meters in diameter, with the most power being closer to the center of the impact. And obviously, it isn't that effective towards people who can either block it or deflect it, like water or earth users.

Traits:
Unreliable and a compulsive liar
DAISY's biggest and most noticeable trait is his lying. He's a compulsive liar and will 9/10 times not tell the truth unless he sees it fitting, which he usually doesn't. This makes him quite unreliable. However, despite this, all the dark and dirty secrets you share with him are safe, because he has yet to break a promise to never tell anyone about a secret he's been told.

Shitty fucking humor
He has the WORST humor there is, like dad-joke bad. However he thinks he has the best type of humor and will brag about it, there is no stopping him. And once you've got him going there is no end to it, the shitty jokes will just keep coming for all of eternity.

Loyal and stubborn, the usual
He is, like many many other characters, both loyal and stubborn. If you've befriended him, he'll stay loyal and back you up whenever you need him. His stubbornness is something people actually doesn't seem to mind. He isn't the straight up annoying kind of stubborn, but rather the convincing and respectful kind of stubborn. While he has times when he can be obnoxiously stubborn, they're fairly few and far between.

Fuzzy Russian bear man
Like, once again, many other characters he puts up a hard front, but on the inside he's really fluffy, and he doesn't hide it. This is a natural behavior he developed from early childhood and that stuck to him like glue. It has also proven quite useful, as his line of work can't afford soft spots. This soft side of him isn't particularly hard to get to either. All you have to do is befriend him to a certain degree, which isn't hard at all, and bam, he'll bear hug you like the Russian bear man he is.

A real trickster
Oh boy is he a trickster. He absolutely loves messing with people and he'll take any chance he can get to pull any sort of prank on you. They are mostly relatively harmless though. In the end, he's doing it just as much for his own laughs as he's doing it for yours and the people around you's. He just wants to bring a little bit of happiness into people's lives in any way he can.

Sarcastic a-hole in training
Having been around Nikolay Vanin , his first ever best friend, for as long as he has, DAISY has picked up on a few things, and in particular sarcasm. For the longest time now, DAISY has desperately been trying to figure out exactly what it is and when it is used. So far, it hasn't been going too well.

Love is overrated
He is unbelievably awkward when it comes to love, or flirting in general. Sweet-talking someone into giving him information or even going as far as to sleep with them is fine, mostly, but real love and real feelings isn't something DAISY is very good at handling. He has no idea what to do with them and so he becomes this typical high-school-tsundere-anime-girl and will desperately deny his feelings and avoid said person. However, once he's gotten past that awkward state, he's as loving and caring as anyone.

The glass is always half full, even when it's not
DAISY can be ridiculously optimistic sometimes. Even in the darkest of times, he's the one to find the light; even the smallest spark is enough to convince him that it will be alright, and when there is no light, he makes his own. He has a positive attitude to life, as he focuses on the good things and let the bad stuff go. This is one of few things he's really good at, and it rubs off on the people around him. He may not be a bright sun spreading happiness and sunshine where ever he goes, but he's a good source of motivation.

Likes
- From and early age, DAISY has always been an adventurous and energetic kid. He would constantly plague his grandmother to take him places or do things with him, and when he didn't get it his way he'd either go alone or bring someone else along, like his dog or another kid.
- As an outdoors person, one would think that he'd be concerned with the weather, but nope. For the most part he loves both hot and cols weather. He sees it as an opportunity to do different activities.
- As he sees himself as a master comedian, he appreciates other people with a good sense of humor. "Good sense of humor" is a very loose term here though, as he both appreciates legit good humor and people of his own level.
- He absolutely loves receiving gifts. To him, they're a sign that you like and care about the person, and so it is something extra special to him.
- Junk food. Junk food is his life essence. He'll take any chance he can get to eat it, even if the situation isn't the most appropriate. That's how much he loves it.

Dislikes
- Vegetables and fish are his arch-nemesis'. He'll most likely eat them is they're a part of a dish and can't be removed, but that won't stop him from trying. However, if included correctly into, lets say, his favorite dish, he'll definitely eat them without a second thought (depending on the vegetable; if it's broccoli, there's no way in hell he'd even try).
- Large bodies of water aren't exactly his biggest fear, but something about them freaks him out. It has nothing to do with any traumatic childhood experiences or anything like that, he just finds them kind of freaky. That and he easily gets motion sick when he's on boats/ect.
- Just like anybody else, he doesn't like to be picked on for his name. Very few people know the meaning of the name DAISY, so most just assume it was some cute nickname his parents gave him and hast he kept. While he did receive it from the person that raised him, it isn't just cute; he was named after a type of bomb, called a daisy-cutter. The person who gave it to him, his grandmother, gave him that name after seeing his powers, as it somewhat resemble a daisy-cutter.
- For someone who's in a pretty bloody business, he's surprisingly sensitive to the smell and taste of blood. Due to him being a shape-shifter, he has heightened senses, so his nose is particularly sensitive to the smell. Most of the time, if it's just a little, he can hold is ground and mask his discomfort pretty well, but when it comes to more blood or just a stronger scent, he does become nauseous. However, he has only actually thrown up a few times, and at those times it has been a lot of blood and gruesome scenery to go with it. Despite that, he's mostly fine with seeing blood. It's become something he's grown used to.
- Here is something that is actually linked to his past; forced labor and abuse of power. These two are not uncommonly seen together, and DAISY's upbringing before his grandmother took him in is no exception. With his parents not being there to raise him properly, he was taken into a "training camp", ruled by a very cruel man with very cruel views on ruling. To keep it short; DAISY did not have a good time there, and hence he despises people that abuse their power for the suffering of others.

Most of the time when people ask him about his past, he just answers them with "oh it's not that interesting". In reality though, big chunks of it is actually missing. He has a lot of blank slots in his memory, especially from when he was young. There are still some parts that stick out, like the mental and physical abuse he went through in the "training camp" he was mostly raised in, and his rough training to become a good solider, but they're pale in comparison to the day his grandmother took him in to live with her instead. While he has always called her grandma, she isn't actually his grandmother. They're not even related by blood; she's just a family friend with a love for kids and a burning hatred for the types of people that raised her dear DAISY.

At the time DAISY was taken in, he was 9, and the actual process of getting him out wasn't hard at all; he was widely considered a failure, and most people were glad to get rid of him. Hell, had he stayed there longer they might just have done it themselves. The first thing she did when they left the camp was go to their new home; an old Western continent monastery that was no longer in use. There were still a few monks there but they only really kept the place nice and tidy, so when DAISY, or Alexei as he was still called back then, moved in, those monks could leave. Three of them stayed though, to help hem get settled in and help with anything the could. More time passed and Alexei was really starting to warm up to her. Back then, as he was fresh out of a very untrustworthy environment, he didn't have a as easy time warming up to people as he has now a days, so it took some time for him to get comfortable, not only with her but with his new living environment.

Soon enough, his grandma started noticing signs that he did indeed have magical powers, and so she encouraged him to try to awaken them. After many futile attempts, he finally managed to create a spark. It was small and only lasted for a second, but it was enough to keep him going. He practiced every wake hour of the day, and long into the night hours to try to master it. Eventually he grew stronger, a little bit every day, until he was strong enough to try to find his specialty. This was when it all went wrong the first time. To begin with, everything was fine. He managed to start a small fire in his palms, that he then split and started trying to make it grow. He was deeply concentrated and it eventually stared moving, growing and creeping further up his arms. He had finally done something more significant that start a small fire late at night or light candles. In the midst of his excitement, he broke his concentration and the flames burst upwards, coating his lower arms in pretty severe burns. After that incident, not only was he unable to use his powers until his arms had healed, he was also discouraged. He had messed up bad and the results scared him. So for a while, even after his arms had healed enough for him to use his magic again, he tried to stay away from it, and instead slowly regain his confidence by starting from square one. When he was finally confident enough to try it again, he was very careful as to always keep concentrated and on-task.

The first time he tried it, he was being extra careful as he knew that he was going to be scared, but in the end everything as fine. From there on out he slowly progressed and after a few years, when he was around 13, he had mastered the basics of fire manipulation. Now, all his training would truly come into play as he was going to try to find out what his special ability was for real. Deeply concentrated, he did what his instincts told him to, and his body burst into flames. However, they did not burn him. He could feel the intense heat, but it didn't hurt. Then he launched into the air, and after a brief pause, he slammed feet first into the ground. On that day, he learned that slamming into the ground, feet first wasn't a good strategy, and that there was going to be a lot of leg training involved in mastering this ability, but he wasn't going nowhere anytime soon as the impact had cause him to break both his tibia and fibula on both legs. He was bed-ridden for a long time, and when he was finally back in action, the firs thing he did was consult someone that could help him control the impact and avoid major damage. And so, his grandma introduced him to an old friend of hers; a magic and martial arts expert named Suia.

At first, they were both a bit hesitant, but soon warmed up to each other after seeing what the other was capable of. Suia was a war veteran who had mastered both hand to hand combat and magic, especially fire magic. Contrary to what DAISY had expected, they did not start by working on his magic, but instead started building his physical strength. The goal wasn't for him to look like and athlete and have superb stamina, but rather to increase his legs' durability. Of course, using the ability at it's full potential was still going to inflict some level of harm, and Suia strongly suggested against using it often, but they could at least try to bring the number up a little. And so, many years f hard training ensued. It was during this time that his grandma had started calling him Daisy. She was inspired by something an Earth human had once told her, and thought it fit him perfectly. Time passed, and DAISY slowly went from responding to Alexei only, to also responding to Daisy. Many mistook it for just being some cute nickname, which bothered him immensely in the beginning, but he grew used to it. While it still bothers him when people say stuff like "cute name", he has learned to just play it cool and not pay any mind to it.

People who saw his powers described it as seeing a fiery eagle dive down to take its prey, which is why his totem(group thing) is a pair of eagle wings.

His last year at the monastery was mostly just him spending time with his grandma and doing some more advanced training with Suia. All he wanted was for it to be a memorable year, and it certainly was. But, all good things must come to an end, and so he began his journey out into the world, at the age of 16. Pretty quickly, he met another boy named Nikolay, and they quickly became friends after DAISY helped him get thought some pretty rough times. During the 3-4 years that they've been friends, they have stared a mercenary company that sells services for a decent amount of money and become best friends, even though Nikolay has been acting like DAISY is the biggest mistake of his life.

- As he sees himself as a master comedian, he appreciates other people with a good sense of humor. "Good sense of humor" is a very loose term here though, as he both appreciates legit good humor and people of his own level.
- He absolutely loves receiving gifts. To him, they're a sign that you like and care about the person, and so it is something extra special to him.
- Junk food. Junk food is his life essence. He'll take any chance he can get to eat it, even if the situation isn't the most appropriate. That's how much he loves it.

Dislikes
- Vegetables and fish are his arch-nemesis'. He'll most likely eat them is they're a part of a dish and can't be removed, but that won't stop him from trying. However, if included correctly into, lets say, his favorite dish, he'll definitely eat them without a second thought (depending on the vegetable; if it's broccoli, there's no way in hell he'd even try).
- Large bodies of water aren't exactly his biggest fear, but something about them freaks him out. It has nothing to do with any traumatic childhood experiences or anything like that, he just finds them kind of freaky. That and he easily gets motion sick when he's on boats/ect.
- Just like anybody else, he doesn't like to be picked on for his name. Very few people know the meaning of the name DAISY, so most just assume it was some cute nickname his parents gave him and hast he kept. While he did receive it from the person that raised him, it isn't just cute; he was named after a type of bomb, called a daisy-cutter. The person who gave it to him, his grandmother, gave him that name after seeing his powers, as it somewhat resemble a daisy-cutter.
- For someone who's in a pretty bloody business, he's surprisingly sensitive to the smell and taste of blood. Due to him being a shape-shifter, he has heightened senses, so his nose is particularly sensitive to the smell. Most of the time, if it's just a little, he can hold is ground and mask his discomfort pretty well, but when it comes to more blood or just a stronger scent, he does become nauseous. However, he has only actually thrown up a few times, and at those times it has been a lot of blood and gruesome scenery to go with it. Despite that, he's mostly fine with seeing blood. It's become something he's grown used to.
- Here is something that is actually linked to his past; forced labor and abuse of power. These two are not uncommonly seen together, and DAISY's upbringing before his grandmother took him in is no exception. With his parents not being there to raise him properly, he was taken into a "training camp", ruled by a very cruel man with very cruel views on ruling. To keep it short; DAISY did not have a good time there, and hence he despises people that abuse their power for the suffering of others.

Most of the time when people ask him about his past, he just answers them with "oh it's not that interesting". In reality though, big chunks of it is actually missing. He has a lot of blank slots in his memory, especially from when he was young. There are still some parts that stick out, like the mental and physical abuse he went through in the "training camp" he was mostly raised in, and his rough training to become a good solider, but they're pale in comparison to the day his grandmother took him in to live with her instead. While he has always called her grandma, she isn't actually his grandmother. They're not even related by blood; she's just a family friend with a love for kids and a burning hatred for the types of people that raised her dear DAISY.

At the time DAISY was taken in, he was 9, and the actual process of getting him out wasn't hard at all; he was widely considered a failure, and most people were glad to get rid of him. Hell, had he stayed there longer they might just have done it themselves. The first thing she did when they left the camp was go to their new home; an old Western continent monastery that was no longer in use. There were still a few monks there but they only really kept the place nice and tidy, so when DAISY, or Alexei as he was still called back then, moved in, those monks could leave. Three of them stayed though, to help hem get settled in and help with anything the could. More time passed and Alexei was really starting to warm up to her. Back then, as he was fresh out of a very untrustworthy environment, he didn't have a as easy time warming up to people as he has now a days, so it took some time for him to get comfortable, not only with her but with his new living environment.

Soon enough, his grandma started noticing signs that he did indeed have magical powers, and so she encouraged him to try to awaken them. After many futile attempts, he finally managed to create a spark. It was small and only lasted for a second, but it was enough to keep him going. He practiced every wake hour of the day, and long into the night hours to try to master it. Eventually he grew stronger, a little bit every day, until he was strong enough to try to find his specialty. This was when it all went wrong the first time. To begin with, everything was fine. He managed to start a small fire in his palms, that he then split and started trying to make it grow. He was deeply concentrated and it eventually stared moving, growing and creeping further up his arms. He had finally done something more significant that start a small fire late at night or light candles. In the midst of his excitement, he broke his concentration and the flames burst upwards, coating his lower arms in pretty severe burns. After that incident, not only was he unable to use his powers until his arms had healed, he was also discouraged. He had messed up bad and the results scared him. So for a while, even after his arms had healed enough for him to use his magic again, he tried to stay away from it, and instead slowly regain his confidence by starting from square one. When he was finally confident enough to try it again, he was very careful as to always keep concentrated and on-task.

The first time he tried it, he was being extra careful as he knew that he was going to be scared, but in the end everything as fine. From there on out he slowly progressed and after a few years, when he was around 13, he had mastered the basics of fire manipulation. Now, all his training would truly come into play as he was going to try to find out what his special ability was for real. Deeply concentrated, he did what his instincts told him to, and his body burst into flames. However, they did not burn him. He could feel the intense heat, but it didn't hurt. Then he launched into the air, and after a brief pause, he slammed feet first into the ground. On that day, he learned that slamming into the ground, feet first wasn't a good strategy, and that there was going to be a lot of leg training involved in mastering this ability, but he wasn't going nowhere anytime soon as the impact had cause him to break both his tibia and fibula on both legs. He was bed-ridden for a long time, and when he was finally back in action, the firs thing he did was consult someone that could help him control the impact and avoid major damage. And so, his grandma introduced him to an old friend of hers; a magic and martial arts expert named Suia.

At first, they were both a bit hesitant, but soon warmed up to each other after seeing what the other was capable of. Suia was a war veteran who had mastered both hand to hand combat and magic, especially fire magic. Contrary to what DAISY had expected, they did not start by working on his magic, but instead started building his physical strength. The goal wasn't for him to look like and athlete and have superb stamina, but rather to increase his legs' durability. Of course, using the ability at it's full potential was still going to inflict some level of harm, and Suia strongly suggested against using it often, but they could at least try to bring the number up a little. And so, many years f hard training ensued. It was during this time that his grandma had started calling him Daisy. She was inspired by something an Earth human had once told her, and thought it fit him perfectly. Time passed, and DAISY slowly went from responding to Alexei only, to also responding to Daisy. Many mistook it for just being some cute nickname, which bothered him immensely in the beginning, but he grew used to it. While it still bothers him when people say stuff like "cute name", he has learned to just play it cool and not pay any mind to it.

People who saw his powers described it as seeing a fiery eagle dive down to take its prey, which is why his totem(group thing) is a pair of eagle wings.

His last year at the monastery was mostly just him spending time with his grandma and doing some more advanced training with Suia. All he wanted was for it to be a memorable year, and it certainly was. But, all good things must come to an end, and so he began his journey out into the world, at the age of 16. Pretty quickly, he met another boy named Nikolay, and they quickly became friends after DAISY helped him get thought some pretty rough times. During the 3-4 years that they've been friends, they have stared a mercenary company that sells services for a decent amount of money and become best friends, even though Nikolay has been acting like DAISY is the biggest mistake of his life.
