Description
There are many different ways to colour a sketch in Photoshop. Every artist has their own work process and there is no right or wrong way. After all its the resulting image that matters not which techniques were used. I find this method of colouring very efficient and flexible so Iβm sharing it in hopes that will be useful to others. The textures add a lot of depth and detail to the image quickly so it doesnβt have to be created manually with shading and painting. This method is useful when I have a lot of illustrations to colour in a short amount of time. The freedom and flow of typical digital painting yields amazing results but sometimes something quicker is needed
This was made using Photoshop CS3. This tutorial was published in .PSD Mag .
